Amy Schumer Got Arrested for Protesting on Capitol Hill
A group of people protesting the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court got detained today and among the group is comedian and activist Amy Schumer.
MSNBC obtained footage of the protests and some of the protesters being removed from the protest on Capitol Hill. One of the detainees was Amy Schumer. Her message- anyone who votes for Kavanaugh is saying women don’t matter.
In another video posted on Twitter she is telling a girl named Zola that Amy and her mother were about to get arrested.
Model Emily Ratajkowski was also arrested.
