Alingon Mitra’s Stand Up Set on Ferguson

Alingon Mitra got a lot of attention on Last Comic Standing when he became the internet’s runaway favorite in the Last Comic Standing Comeback competition. He was the young comic from Harvard who worked for his parents accounting firm during the day. Last night he did his first Late Night stand up set on Craig Ferguson’s Late Late Show. He told the audience that Alingon means “embrace” in India. In the United States it means “you need a nickname.” Otherwise you’re going to have trouble getting your coffee at Starbucks.
