Adam McKay Will Sit Down with SiriusXM Host Ron Bennington and a Live Studio Audience

Oscar winning Filmmaker, screenwriter, director comedian and actor Adam McKay is coming to SiriusXM HQ in New York City to talk about his new critically acclaimed political comedy “Vice” in front of a studio audience. McKay will sit down with Ron Bennington on his critically acclaimed Unmasked series for an hour conversation, and you can request tickets here! And they’re free! McKay is coming to SiriusXM to talk about his upcoming film, “Vice” which is a political comedy about former Vice President Dick Cheney. Vice stars Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Steve Carell and Sam Rockwell and is tagged as “The Untold Story That Changed the Course of History.”  It is the story of Dick Cheney, the most powerful Vice President in history, and how his policies changed the world as we know it. VICE explores the epic story about how a bureaucratic Washington insider quietly became the most powerful man in the world as Vice-President to George W. Bush, reshaping the country and the globe in ways that we still feel today.

Adam McKay is one of comedy’s most prolific creators. Working as a creative partner with Will Ferrell, he directed some of Hollywood’s purest comedies like Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, The Other Guys and Anchorman 2. He also served as head writer for Saturday Night Live for two seasons and was involved in different capacities in a long list of other modern classic comedy projects: The Campaign, Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie, Tammy, Between Two Ferns, Ant-man, Ibiza, Eastbound and Down, Between Two Ferns, The Chris Gethard Show, Drunk History, I Love You America, and more. McKay’s dip into a more dramatic/comedic universe in The Big Short  earned McKay an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and a list of nominations in other categories, as well as other awards. Vice is already racking up nominations for awards.
