What looks like a melted strawberry milkshake? It’s Senegal’s Lake Retba. Yeah, you are right, it does look like the pink ooze from Ghostbusters 2. The unusual color, which is completely natural, is caused by large populations of the organism Dunaliella salina present in the lake.
