A Wisconsin woman is challenging a 15 yo. law that can confine a pregnant woman who has a drug addiction and refuses treatment. Alicia Beltran, 28, told her doctor about a pill addiction that she had beaten the year before and then refused to start taking an anti-addiction drug. The next thing she knew, her fetus was assigned a lawyer and she was forced to enter a 78-day rehab stay.
