Glow-In-The-Dark Rabbits
Using a process called “transgenesis” that allowed for the insertion of a gene for a jellyfish protein into a set of a rabbit’s chromosomes, scientists have made bunnies that glow green when placed under a blacklight. According to a member of the scientific team, animals are capable of making proteins in their milk that are valuable for human medicine and that can be extracted easily, so this experiment tests the process by which genes used for making those proteins would be inserted. Glow-in-the-dark fur coats are about to make EDM people that much more annoying.
