Life Just Got A Whole Lot Worse for Pussy Riot

Russian punk rock political prisoners Pussy Riot have had two of their members sent to prison camps hundreds of miles from Moscow, where they’re currently serving time. They’ve been sentenced to two years in Russian prison for holding a demonstration against Putin. They’ve lost their appeals, so this looks like it’s happening for the remaining members of the band. One of them was able to get released on her appeal. While communism may be gone in Russia, it still may be the scariest country in the first world.
