Jim Jefferies Talks About That Viral Gun Control Clip
In Jim Jefferies’ last special, Bare, he talked about gun control for 14 minutes and now every time there is an incident that has anything to do with guns in the world, that clip goes viral. Monday night, Jefferies stopped by the Conan show to talk about his new special, Freedumb (it’s amazing by the way), and Conan asked him about the now infamous gun control clip. “I just said some common sense things,” Jefferies said, “but people get so angry at me about the gun thing, I get hate mail all the time.” Jim said that anytime anything happens in the way of an overseas massacre- even if there are no guns involved– he gets hate mail. After the Nice attack in France, he got tons of mail telling him that “maybe we need truck control.” As you might expect, Jim has an answer to their concern.
Watch the clip to hear Jefferies talk about ‘truck control’ and explain to gun enthusiasts that in America we already have gun control, we just need a little bit more. “You can’t put a bayonet on the end of your gun because that would make a gun too scary,” he said.
