Even though nerds have been bitching and waiting years for a movie based on World of Warcraft to come out, none of them went out to see the movie. With a $160 million dollar budget, awful reviews and a $24 million dollar US Box Office it looked like this was going to be a monumental flop. Then China got involved, having a $156 million box office there alone. Mix that in with an overseas box office in foreign markets outside of China over the past few weeks, bringing it to a total of $286 million worldwide.
