The trailer for David Brent: Life on the Road is here, or at least a teaser of the trailer is. Back in December Gervais released a photo on Twitter showing David Brent back in an office and speculation went mad over the possibility of Gervais’ brilliant UK series hitting the big screen.
Gervais explained that a new film was coming about The Office’s David Brent, but it wouldn’t be set at Wernham Hogg. The film instead shows Brent over a decade after leaving the company that was the basis for the UK series, and he’s now pursuing a music career while working as a traveling salesman.
Gervais wrote, directed and stars.
