In honor of the Pokemon 20th anniversary, the franchise will be broadcasting a minute-long Super Bowl commercial titled “Train On”. The video has already been released on the internet, but fans for an entire generation will recognize the fire badges on the sides of the football helmets and the Nidoking chess pieces. Of course, filming could not take place in Mt. Ember because the crew had not obtained “flash” and were stopped by countless Geodudes.
