Kurt Braunohler Hauling Ass Across America
Last year Stand up comedian Kurt Braunohler traveled across the middle of the country on a jet ski to raise money for those in need. This summer he’s hauling ass across the country, and quite literally. Braunohler is on the Love Butt tour and driving a 14 foot x 15 foot x 8 foot ass weighing 1600 lbs across the country on the back of a flatbed truck, as part of a new pilot he’s making for Comedy Central, “Better. Dumber. Faster. with Kurt Braunohler”.
He says the show is about bringing absurdity to strangers, to make them laugh, and lighten up. “We’re driving a butt across America,” Kurt says on his website, “For no other reason than it’s dumb and funny and hopefully will surprise people.”
Kurt is bringing co-creator and show runner, Scotty Landes, and his wife, Lauren Cook along for the ride.
At the end of the tour, he says, “We’re dropping the butt off in my mom’s driveway in New Jersey. She is not aware of this yet.”
The Love Butt Tour has already hit up Las Vegas and Moab, and will be making stops in Denver, Kansas City, Louisville, Charlottesville, Washington DC and Asbury Park, NJ over the next five days and is hoping to be able to perform comedy in each of those cities, with the butt of course.
