After 20 years the Opie and Anthony Show seems to be over, or at least taking time away from each other. SiriusXM fired Anthony and it seems that Opie and Jim Norton will be staying on at SiriusXM, at least in the short term.
We now know that Anthony Cumia plans to start podcasting starting in August (coming August 4) and have had some indications of what he will be doing with the new podcast through his twitter and through facebook posts from Brother Joe. But what about the guys who are staying behind. What’s the smart move without Anthony? What do you think Opie and Jimmy will be doing, now that Ant is no longer with SiriusXM?
- Will they do the FU show and go join Ant?
- Work until October and then join Ant?
- Continue the show as it was but with no Anthony?
- Will Vos or Robert Kelly join the show in the Anthony spot?
- Will Brother Weeze or Artie Lange join the show full time?
- Should the show get a full time “hole” to keep them in line?
