British Airways Apologizes For Ad Reminding People Of Malaysia Airways Flight 370
British Airways has apologized for an advertisement in the London tube that encouraged travelers to “escape the commute and discover the Indian Ocean.” The ad ran just days after officials announced that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 had crashed in the Indian Ocean. The photo in the add was also shot from deep underwater. British Airways apologized via Twitter and said that once everyone is feeling better, they will would still like to fly them over the Indian Ocean.
