72 Year-Old Man Survives 19 Days In Forest

After getting separated from his hunting partner and then hitting his head, 72 year-old Gene Penaflor was forced to survive for 19 days in California’s Mendocino national forest. Penaflor managed to stay alive on squirrels, snakes, lizards, and algae from water before being rescued by a group of hunters. The grandfather is said to be in good spirits and is glad he’ll get to see the finale of Breaking Bad.
