Sony Pictures Television is in advanced talks to sell reruns of “Seinfeld” to an online video service. Sony believes it can get over half-a-million dollars an episode $500,000 and there are 180 episodes of “Seinfeld” altogether. According to the Wall Street Journal, when Netflix bought the series “Friends” from Warner Bros last year, the streaming service paid more than $500,000 per-episode, according to a WSJ source. The same source said, Sony is looking to get a higher price than what Warner Bros. received for “Friends.” Hulu, Amazon and Yahoo are all in the the running. The deal to sell the repeats to an online service is to give new life to “Seinfeld” reruns.

This is great because you never get to watch “Seinfeld”.
