Craig Ferguson to Host Live Show Every Evening on SiriusXM

Craig Ferguson, the former host of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Celebrity Name Game, will be hosting a new, daily talk show on SiriusXM Comedy Greats (channel 94) beginning Monday, February 27th.

Called The Craig Ferguson Show, the program will be a freeform talk show featuring Ferguson interviewing celebrity guests, discussing stories with correspondents, performing the occasional sketch, and taking calls from listeners. Ferguson shone the brightest during his decade-long tenure on The Late Late Show when he was delivering a passionate monologue or interviewing a guest, so radio could prove to be a great format for the comic.

“This is premium quality drive-time entertainment. It’s like Game of Thrones in your car without pictures. Also, given recent events on earth, I wanted to return to a daily show without the restriction of wearing pants or shaving [anywhere],” said Ferguson of the new show. “I look forward to working in an environment that has zero censorship and zero network interference. The melon-farmers at SiriusXM told me to say that.”

Jokes aside, SiriusXM does allow for a good degree of freedom, certainly more than the comic would be used to from his two previous gigs at CBS. Ferguson, with his punk roots, has always had a bit of an edge to him, so we’re excited to see what he does with his newfound freedom.

You can tune in to The Craig Ferguson Show on SiriusXM Comedy Greats channel 94 from 6 to 8 p.m. on weekdays starting Monday, February 27th.
