Watch Teenage Drake Take A Crack At Improv

Remember when Drake hosted SNL this year? Turns out that wasn’t really his first attempt at comedy. Footage of Drake performing improv comedy at the Rivoli Theatre in Toronto has surfaced and it is definitely about as uncomfortable as you would imagine it would be. In the clip, he is performing with a girl and their scene is supposed to take place at the gym. Drake ends up playing a gay character at about the 1 minute mark. The two are being directed by someone off-stage while also stepping on each other’s lines.
The scene was provided by the CBC, who did an article on the Rivoli Theatre where names like Amy Winehouse, Dave Grohl and other beloved sons of Canada like The Kids in the Hall performed there on their rise to the top. You may not see the superstar that Drake is today because this video is a whole lot more Aubrey Graham than it is Drake. It also looks like this could have even been before his days as Jimmy on Degrassi. It does show you that he has always had that charming smile and charisma that has taken him to the top of the pop charts. It’s up to you to decide if the weird song he does in this counts as his first track though.
