Want to Be the Next Wild ‘N Out Comedy Star? Nick Cannon Returns Tonight With Live Times Square Specials

Want to be the next Wild ‘N Out comedy star?

Nick Cannon’s had success discovering talent before and this time, voting will be involved (via social media). Premiering Thursday, March 2nd at 9:00 PM ET/PT, the second half of “Wild ’N Out” season 8 will take the form of a two-hour in-studio kick-off special to the “So You Wanna Wild Out” competition. This overall six-week showdown will pit up-and-coming comedians against each other to secure a spot as a cast member on “Wild ’N Out”.

Cannon catalyzed “SNL” cast member Pete Davidson semi-recently, so it’s no surprise he’s interested in outsourcing more talent on “Wild ’N Out”. Episodes will be hosted by guest stars and incorporate fans, live and via social media. Celebrity guests include 2 Chainz, Migos, Samantha Hoopes, Los Angeles Clipper Chris Paul, Omarion, K. Michelle, Deontay Wilder, Trevor Jackson, Trina and the cast members’ special guests Michael Blackson, Charlie Clips, Justina Valentine, Tonio Skits, Becky “Pickles” Robinson. MTV has merged more than just the genres of sketch comedy and talent competition shows with “Live in Times Square”; the Battle Royale looks more like a monster of synergy in that its social media presence will be encouraged with live-giveaways in each episode to reward active viewers.
