My name is Matt, my brother Scott and I are setting this donation site up for my dad, Tom. On August 21st he was diagnosed with probable pancreatic cancer, we are still waiting for the biopsy result as of August 24, 2012 but the doctors believe this is the illness affecting him because all the signs are present.
On Thursday August 30th we got the results and it is stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer. We now have to do everything we can.
This came as a serious shock to the family, as it would be with all families. Tom is 3 months away from retirement and had so many plans to travel and spend lots of time with his new grandson. He has been a loving husband, dad, grandparent, friend and family man to everyone. Tom is also a proud veteran of The United States Air Force.
We plan to do everything possible to try and beat this awful course of events. Anything you can give would be more than greatly appreciated.
With money donated we plan to pay for all the treatments and medical expenses incurred during this time.
