SiriusXM Grabs Sebastian Maniscalco Podcast

SiriusXM is harnessing the power of podcasts by airing “The Pete and Sebastian Show” on their Raw Dog channel a full week before episodes are available to download. Pete Correale and Sebastian Maniscalco are two highly successful, mainstream comedians. Maniscalco was recently awarded the title of Stand Up Comedian of the Year from Just For Laughs’ Comedy Festival and Correale has a Showtime special (“Let Me Tell Ya”) and a job writing for CBS’ “Kevin Can Wait”.

“The Pete and Sebastian Show” is a popular comedy storytelling show from Los Angeles while as the name might suggest, Raw Dog Radio is an uncensored comedy channel from Sirius. The channel is like a virtual comedy club of up-and-comers and household names; the move to make a popular podcast exclusive will most likely bring in new fans of the channel (but old fans of the podcast) and turn subscribers on to the show.
