The Rock & Kevin Hart Are Promoting The Hell Out Of Central Intelligence

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart are teaming up for the first massive comedy of this summer. They hit New York City and visited Landmark High School to talk to students about bullying, which is a huge plot point of Central Intelligence, the story of two high school classmates reunited 20 years later. Johnson shared with the students a story about how he was bullied during junior high which is hard to believe when you look at the successful and charming mammoth of a man that is one of today’s biggest action stars.

The two went on Periscope at the Twitter offices where the two did dueling periscopes for National Best Friends Day. They got into a hilarious argument before telling fans to tweet at them for a live periscope Q&A where they would answer questions about relationships, friendships and any other advice people may need. Periscopes like this show that the two definitely have chemistry together, which explains why they are already teaming up again for the Jumanji re-make, which they spoke about towards the end of the Q&A.

This isn’t the first time they have had dueling videos. The two posted videos to Instagram of them arguing while the Boston Fire Department shut down shooting of Central Intelligence. Their timing is great, the fake anger works and moments like these have been getting people excited for the film since last year. The two have come a very long way since Hart starred in Soul Plane and The Rock was doing movies like The Scorpion King.

Hart and Johnson also did Good Morning America on different days, Kevin Hart sat down with Robin Roberts and The Rock hung out with Michael Strahan. Kevin Hart brought up how they connected over admiring each other’s work ethic. The two are probably the hardest working people in Hollywood with Kevin doing one of the largest stand up tours of all time while filming movies and it seems like the Rock signs on to do a new movie every day, while also starring in HBO’s Ballers and managing to still make sporadic appearances for the WWE. These two look like they may take the spot as Hollywood’s favorite bromance.

You can catch Central Intelligence when it hits theaters on June 17th.
