Seeso, NBCUniversal Digital Enterprise’s new ad-free streaming comedy channel, gave away free beta previews to their subscription service in December, but once they officially launched in January, that door was closed to non-subscribers. If you missed your chance to get a free peek, the folks at Seeso are giving you another chance to check out the service for free, all day today.
Seeso has declared Sunday, February 21 the ”Day of Ha.”
Two weeks after the last NFL game of the season, one week after Valentine’s Day and deep in the middle of the Winter Doldrums, Seeso is calling their “Day of Ha” is a celebration of all things funny, a ha-liday when people can turn their frowns upside down, drop the pretense of productivity, and spend an entire day streaming and laughing. Watch cult classics like ‘Monty Python’s Flying Circus’ and ‘The Kids In The Hall’ (both remastered in HD) as well as comedy specials from Rory Scovel and Matt Besser and the entire first seasons of “The UCB Show,” “Dave & Ethan’s Lovemakers,” “Before The Morning After,” and “Sammy J & Randy.”
Seeso fans will get the opportunity to catch a sneak peek of the upcoming original reality spoof “Bajillion Dollar Propertie$” on the “Day of Ha.” In anticipation of the March 17 premiere date, the first episode will be made available for viewing beginning on February 21. Bajillion Dollar Properie$ is a half-hour, semi-scripted comedy that features an ensemble of seven real estate agents set against the backdrop of a luxury, cutthroat LA real estate firm.
