“Kevin Hart: What Now?” Trailer Is Released

When Kevin Hart wasn’t filming movies with The Rock and Ice Cube he was busy doing one of the biggest stand up tours in history. It’s hard to argue that Kevin Hart isn’t the biggest stand up comic in the world right now. His trailer for the movie version of his tour is also pretty hard evidence for that, taking place in a sold out football stadium in front of 53,000 people going crazy.
The trailer starts off with Kevin Hart in a high stakes poker scene, which he is in to “get money for his tour”. The scenes from his set featured in the trailer showcase Hart’s storytelling style of comedy, letting you know up front that his family will be at the epicenter of his special once again. It will be interesting to see if Hart can still be a relatable guy now that he is one of the most famous people on the planet, incredibly successful and super rich. Will doing jokes about his kids in private school be enough to connect with his audience?
The reason that stadium full of people was going absolutely nuts for Hart is because he filmed it at Lincoln Financial Field, in his hometown of Philly. It’s like him and The Rock, who are teaming back up for Jumanji, have a contest going of who can do more movies in a year.
Kevin Hart: What Now? will hit theaters on October 14th.
