Whitney Cummings New Stand Up Special Coming to CC

Whitney Cummings new stand up special is coming to Comedy Central this month.  Cummings returns to stand-up with her special, “Whitney Cummings: I Love You” premiering on Comedy Central on Saturday, June 28 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. Her second one-hour Comedy Central special was taped at the Barclay Theatre in Irvine, CA. Cummings shares insights about love and relationships, covering everything from real orgasms to her frustration at men calling women “crazy.”

Can’t wait till the 28th? The week leading up to the 28th will be a veritable Whitney Fest! There will be clips released, an animation of a clip from the special will be unveiled, Whitney will be doing an AMA on Reddit, and if you really need your Whitney asap, you will be able to watch the entire special a week early, by visiting CC: Stand-Up Direct.

And of course, the full uncensored version of the special will be available on the Comedy Central app, starting on June 29th, the day after the special airs on television. Then on July 1st, order the digital download on iTunes, and Amazon.com.

Cummings is a Los Angeles based comedian, actor, writer and producer. She’s the co-creator and one of the writers for the hit series 2 Broke Girls, and of course she is the writer, producer and star of the autobiographical sitcom “Whitney,” which aired on NBC. You can also see her regularly on Chelsea Lately on the E! Channel.

Her first one-hour stand up special, “Whitney Cummings: Money Shot,” premiered on Comedy Central in August 2010 and was nominated for an American Comedy Award later that year.
