Watch Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer Honor the Elaine Dance at the Mark Twain Awards

If there wasn’t an Elaine Benes would there be a Broad City? Maybe, but it wouldn’t be the same Broad City.

Monday night at 9pm on PBS you can watch Julia Louis-Dreyfus receive our nation’s highest honors for comedy at the Mark Twain Awards. Louis-Dreyfus was the 21st recipient of the prize and was honored at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. last month. Jerry Seinfeld, Kumail Nanjiani, Tony Hale, Larry David, Keegan-Michael Key, Lisa Kudrow, Tina Fey and Jack Johnson showed up to honor the super star who has now starred in three hit comedy series.

Also on hand were Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson who joined Julia in a tribute to Elaine Benes’s questionable dance skills, and you won’t have to wait till Monday night to watch that dance go down. Introducing the segment, Ilana and Abby gave love to Julia’s physical comedy skills, thanking her for the slapstick, the hijinks, the joy, the groove and the shove.
