The Australian DJ Fallout Continues
The Australian radio show that posed as British royals have been suspended indefinitely and their show’s been canceled. And now their parent company is pledging all of their advertising profits for the rest of the year to the family of the nurse who killed herself. They’ve stated they will be giving at least $500,000 dollars to a memorial fund. Here’s what the chief of the of the station had to say:
”We are very sorry for what has happened. It is a terrible tragedy and our thoughts continue to be with the family. We hope that by contributing to a memorial fund we can help to provide the Saldanha family with the support they need at this very difficult time.”
Looks like the drunk Aussie’s are gonna buy their way out of this one.
