Tenacious D Festival Supreme Line Up Brings Kids in the Hall, Tim Minchin, Amy Poehler to LA Shrine

Yesterday the official line up for this years Tenacious D Festival Supreme was released and as expected, there are some huge names on board in the comedy category. The line up was official announced on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic 89.9FM by Tenacious D personally. The festival takes place at the Shrine Expo Hall and grounds on October 10, 2015.

As our celebration of the best comedy in 2014 continues, we are looking at the best comedy albums released this year. There were many strong contenders this year, and we picked ten favorites. Albums by Sarah Silverman, Big Jay Oakerson, Chris Gethard, Mark Normand, Cameron Esposito, Tommy Johnagin, Joe Mande, Nick Thune, Mike Vecchione, and Weird Al Yankovic topped our list for the funniest albums of 2014. We picked our top ten but we need you to vote for who had the #1 comedy special in 2014.

Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival Tickets on Sale

The 7th Annual Eugene Mirman Festival will take place September 18th through the 22nd in Brooklyn's Bell House and Union Hall. Named after comedy host extraordinaire Eugene Mirman, this year's lineup promises their most diverse to date, with an all-star cast of comedians, musicians and other special guests scheduled to appear.

Hey Boston! Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival is Coming!

Eugene is bringing his 2nd Annual Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival to Boston May 1-4. This is the 2nd year that Lexington-raised comedian Mirman is bringing his hit comedy festival from Brooklyn to Boston, and it's already grown 33%! This years festival will be one night longer than last year's festival, kids! The Sinclair and Berklee Performance Center will be hosting of four nights of comedy and music.
