The Second City Toronto, the Canadian faction of Chicago’s famed comedy theater, is throwing its 80th Mainstage Revue, called Party Today, Panic Tomorrow on Wednesday, August 23rd.

The revue is being directed by the groups first all-female directing team, comprised of alumni Leslie Seiler and Karen Parker. The sketch show will cover a variety of topics, from friendship-ending board game sessions and dance-offs to the understandable feeling of political exhaustion we’re all undoubtedly feeling at the moment. The show’s players include returning members Ann Pornell (Baroness Von Sketch Show), Colin Munch (Uncalled For), Brandon Hackett (This Hour Has 22 Minutes) and Devon Hyland (Stay Out of the Desert), as well as new arrivals Nadine Djoury (Newborn Moms) and Allana Reoch (Panacea!).

The Second City Toronto venue is located at 51 Mercer Street in Toronto; Tickets start at $26 and can be bought via the box office at 416-343-0011 or through the Second City website.
