Rich Vos will be the next guest on Ron Bennington’s critically acclaimed Unmasked series in New York City!
Rich will be the first guest to tape his hour at the New York Comedy Cellar’s Fat Black Pussycat venue in front of a live audience. This episode is going to be an instant classic. Rich has a history in comedy that few can compare with. He’s a legend in New York comedy, and he’s one of the few legends that have no problem telling you that himself.
You can get tickets to be in the room for the hour right here– and the tickets are free. We’ve been partnering with SiriusXM’s team to co-produce Unmasked for years and we’re expecting this to be one of the all-time greats. The episode will tape on Tuesday, June 26th at 5pm at the Fat Black Pussycat in New York City’s West Village, so plan to leave work early (there’s that stomach flu going around right?) It’s a gorgeous venue and if you’ve never been there, this is a great reason to check it out.
Rich is one of our favorite comedians and has appeared on Unmasked before with his wife and podcast co-host Bonnie McFarlane, and that was an incredible hour. Since then we’ve been waiting for the right occasion to record a solo hour with Vos, and we picked now because Rich is promoting his 60th Birthday Roast- recorded last year at the Village Underground- (and now available at vosroast.com) and hands down the best roast we’ve ever seen. Vos also recently recorded his first hour special, which should be available later this year. He’s the dean of crowd work, one of the great radio guests of our time, the first comedian to sit down on stage, and he’s got an incredible history to talk about. Before you request, please make sure you know you can be in Manhattan on time. The Fat Black Pussycat is located at 130 W. 3rd Street between Sixth Avenue and Macdougal. You will need to be at The Fat Black Pussycat by 4:30pm on June 26th. Please only request tickets if you KNOW you can attend, and only request more than one ticket if you can be certain you will be bringing someone.
