Kevin Hart likes being bigger than life and the new trailer for his stand up feature film is certainly that.

Will it be too big? No such thing for Hart’s rabid fan base. In “What Now?” Hart takes the stage at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field- an NFL stadium filled with 50,000 screaming fans. Record setting, ground breaking, sold-out- the visual of Hart taking the stage is dazzling and the size of the crowd watching one man with a mic is impressive. But whether or not that adds to, or takes away from a stand up comedy performance on film, we’ll have to wait and see, because in comedy, the “room” matters.

Hart’s last stand up concert movie grossed $32 million domestically, and became one of the top 5 highest grossing live stand up concert movies of all time, along with Eddie Murphy Raw (at the number one spot according to Box Office Mojo) followed by The Original Kings of Comedy, Richard Pryor Live on the Sunset Strip, Hart’s Let Me Explain and Martin Lawrence Live: Runteldat.  “Let Me Explain” was filmed at Madison Square Garden in front of a massive 30,000 strong crowd, which his Philadelphia performance eclipses by 20K screaming fans.

Universal Pictures’ Kevin Hart: What Now? is in theaters October 14, and with Hart at the height of his popularity, will likely break his own box office record.
