The World Expo, a gathering to discuss “universal challenges of our time,” takes place every five years and Japan came up with the genius idea to appoint Pikachu and Hello Kitty as the official ambassadors to win the right to be the host city and had two people dressed in suits accept the honors. By these standards, Times Square would be the perfect host city.
