Nick Nolte In Talks To Star In Epix Comedy Series
Nick Nolte may be coming to Epix in their first scripted comedy series. The multi-platform network known for its On Demand movies, comedy and concert specials is getting into the original programming game. Nolte is in talks to star in a new sitcom that would go straight to series on Epix.
The deal is for a 10 episode first season order for “Graves”. According to Deadline, Nick Nolte would star as a former U.S. President who wakes up to realize that the policies he implemented while in the White House have been wrong for the country all along and he dedicates his life to undoing the damage he feels he’s caused the nation. In the meantime, his wife is starting to launch her own political career.
Epix has developed original programming in the past including the dramatic series “Tough Trade” but it never got past the pilot phase and was passed on to ABC as the drama “Nashville”.
