The Great White Way is about to get a little whiter and a lot funnier. Nick Kroll and John Mulaney are bringing their brilliant characters Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland to the world’s most famous theater district and we’re excited. Gil and George created a Facebook Live video directly from backstage at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, to announce the news with our own Jeffrey Gurian as their head of security.

The show has had a three night sold out run at Montreal’s beautiful La Gesu theater, with standing room only- and there isn’t even supposed to be standing room at the Gesu, but people were so anxious to see the show they squeezed themselves into any corner. The audience was completely locked in, literally on the edge of their seats, with roaring laughter at every line- and the lines came fast and nonstop. Special guest Janeane Garofalo joined the pair on stage Wednesday night for a round of Too Much Tuna, with Jeffrey Gurian and Judd Apatow joining them on stage Friday night.

Oh Hello will be coming to the Lyceum Theater with previews beginning September 23rd and an official opening night set for October 10th. The show will run through January 8th or “until we get shut down.”  Ohhellobroadway.com is the place to go to get your tickies. They promise to be better than Hamilton.

Does this mean Jeffrey Gurian could finally have his Broadway Debut? We’ll have to wait until September 23rd to find out.
