Lewis Black and Kathleen Madigan Announce ‘49th Parallel Tour’

Exciting news for stand-up fans in Canada: This September, legendary comics Lewis Black and Kathleen Madigan will be hitting the road for a two-week tour across The Great white North for their newly-announced 49th Parallel Tour! The tour will kick off on September 6th in Calgary, Alberta, and finish on Sunday, September 17th in London, Ontario. Tickets will be available for pre-sale starting Thursday, May 11th at 12 p.m. — 10 p.m. local time (using promo code SOUNDCHECK), and will become available to the general public on Friday, May 12th at 10 a.m. local time.

Neither of these comics requires an introduction. Black is a Grammy-winning comic who is known for his groundbreaking specials like Red, White and Screwed and Black on Broadway, as well as his stints on TV shows like Lewis Black’s The Root of All Evil and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Madigan is one of the funniest, most pedigreed comics in the game, having created various specials for Comedy Central, HBO and Netflix over the course of her 25-year career. She was one of the most popular contestants ever to hit the stage of Last Comic Standing, and had one of the highest-rated comedy albums on the iTunes charts with 2013’s Madigan Again.
