Who is On Late Night Tonight in Comedy: Week of February 5, 2018 – UPDATED

Who’s on Late Night Tonight in Comedy?

UPDATE: We’re thrilled to find out that the hysterical Bonnie McFarlane will be performing on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon this evening at 11:30pm on NBC. You know Bonnie from co-hosting the My Wife Hates Me podcast on Riotcast.com, her book “You’re Better Than Me: A Memoir“, her documentary film “Women Aren’t Funny” and of course, her great stand up. Tonight she brings it all to the Jimmy Fallon stage on the Tonight Show! Bonnie announced the news on Twitter.

Football is all over. The season has gone bye-bye. And while a majority of the country is happy that Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots dynasty were over-thrown, it can’t match the depression that sets in when it will be 6 months before we see any new NFL action. So why not dive into some late night comedy to put a lift into your now football-less lives?

Conan O’Brien starts out our weekly late night comedy highlights with a massive comedy booking on Monday. He’s got Bill Burr who always has unforgettable visits on Conan, followed by the always hysterical Chelsea Peretti and then he ends his show with stand up from Seann Walsh, an English comic who is making his American national late night television debut. Seann was a part of the all British comedy showcase this past year at JFL in Montreal.

Wednesday, Seth Meyers has a funny show lined up with a Late Night and comedy fan favorite John Mulaney stopping by and also the very funny Tony Rock. Set your DVRs on Wednesday because while all that funny is happening on Late Night, James Corden has stand up comedy from Jamie Lee on the Late Late Show who you’ve seen on Pete Holmes’ show “Crashing” on HBO (she’s also a writer on the show) and who is the author of the very funny book Weddiculous: The Unfiltered Guide to Being a Bride. You can read more about Jamie Lee and how she took on Big Bridal right here on The Interrobang. Also, watch for Academy Award nominee Kumail Nanjiani on Conan on Wednesday night.

On Thursday, Conan has more stand up from Jena Friedman who should have won some sort of award last year for “Best Name for a Comedy Album, when she released “American Cunt“. Then on Friday, Jimmy Fallon has both Paul Rudd who always comes prepared for any late night appearance and the very funny and very talented and now Academy Award nominated Laurie Metcalf. And here’s a friendly weekend reminder that Saturday Night Live is pre-empted for the next month on NBC for the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
