Kaaboo Del Mar Festival Announces Craig Ferguson, Nikki Glaser, Pete Holmes, Aparna Nancherla and More
The KAABOO Del Mar music and comedy festival announced its lineup for their fourth annual fest this fall, and they’ve got a great comedy line up planned.
The festival was named Music Festival of the Year last year by Pollster Magazine, and yes, it’s primarily a music fest, but the fest pass also includes access to the HUMOR ME comedy club with a great lineup, as well as an art fair, live action outdoor murals, food and craft beverage tastings, a Vegas-Style nightclub and daytime access to poolside action.
Craig Ferguson, Nikki Glaser, Pete Holmes, Aparna Nancherla, Iliza Shlesinger, Nick Offerman, Craig Robinson, Chris Hardwick, Whitney Cummings, Kevin Nealon, Pauly Shore, Orny Adams, and J.F. Harris will all perform comedy at fest which takes place on September 14-16 this year.
“This year’s music and comedy announcement offers all of our guests a highly curated lineup that varies from the derivative mainstream festival circuit,” says KAABOO Chief Brand + Marketing Officer Jason Felts. “We are proud of KAABOO’s depth and diversity of talent which we bring to our guests each year. KAABOO offers something for everyone including a lineup of emerging bands that is always fun to see our guests discover.”
And there’s a charity componant too. The KAABOO KINDNESS program continues to support charities in the San Diego region and across the globe. One dollar per every pass sold is donated to featured charitable partners, including global partner The Recording Academy’s MusiCares program, as well as three local charities including the San Diego Armed Services YMCA, Surfrider – San Diego Chapter, and Voices for Children.
Alt-rock onslaught Foo Fighters, hit-making pop rock band Imagine Dragons, international chart topper Katy Perry, and legendary rock icon Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters will headline. They will be joined by Halsey, Post Malone, Wiz Khalifa, N.E.R.D, Incubus, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gucci Mane, Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators, Alice in Chains, Billy Idol and many more.
