Jon Hamm Narrates Comedy Audiobook ‘Stinker Lets Loose’

Big comedy stars came together to record a full cast audiobook of Stinker Lets Loose. The audiobook, a love letter to the classic road race farce comedies of the 70’s, what we call the Burt Reynolds genre, was released on Tuesday on Audible.  Performed by Jon Hamm, Andy Daly, Paul F. Tompkins, Andy Richter and more, Stinker Sets Loose purports to be a book based on a long lost 1977 cinematic smash hit.

Best-selling author Mike Sacks (And Here’s the Kicker, Poking a Dead Frog) wrote the book, which he “discovered” based on a “long-lost classic movie,” and teamed up with director Eric Martin to adapt the novelization into a fully immersive cinematic audio experience, with an all-star cast. Confused?  If you’re a fan of classic comedies like Smokey and the Bandit and Every Which Way But Loose, and you love John Hamm, Andy Daly and some of the other great performers who got on board to make this, you should check out Stinker.  It’s like getting to enjoy a movie in your car, without worrying about what you’re missing because you can’t watch. Or put it on while you finally tackle that pile of laundry you’ve been ignoring.

Original songs by CJ McKnight as played by Mark Rozzo.

The full cast audiobook is available now at audible.com/stinker.

So bad its good. Or is it?  You ain’t never heard anything like it!
