Joel McHale is returning to the world of talk TV after spending some time in the scripted world. “The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale,” will be a half-hour topical talk series that will covering current events, pop culture and news from across the globe. The show will have celebrity guests, comedy sketches, and discuss video clips from all over the internet. Season one kicks off February 18th, and will run weekly for 13 episodes.
As a comedian, actor, writer, television producer, and television host, McHale has a long and varied career, from his break out gig as host of E!’s The Soup in 2004, later co-hosting Loveline and frequently appearing on The Adam Carolla Show to his starring role on the cult hit sitcom Community, and The Great Indoors. He’s also hosted the People’s Choice Awards, the Independent Spirit Awards and the ESPYs and helmed one of the most controversial White House Correspondents’ Dinners in recent memory.
