Desus and Mero Announce Their New Late Night Time Slot

Comedy duo Desus and Mero are planning to enter the world of the once a week talk show- the first duo to enter the game. Today they released a video announcing their new timeslot for their weekly series on Showtime.

The weekly half-hour late-night talk show will debut on Thursday February 21 at 11pm, and then will air weekly every Thursday night.  The show will tape in New York City.  Joining the starring duo Desus Nice and The Kid Mero will be guests from the worlds of pop culture, sports, music, and politics.

Longtime acquaintances Desus (Daniel Baker) and Mero (Joel Martinez) reconnected online in the early days of Twitter, where they unleashed their potent personalities and found themselves kindred spirits. That led to stints on Complex and MTV’s Joking Off, the Bodega Boys podcast, and a daily late-night show on Viceland, developing a feverish followingThe quick-witted duo brings a distinct voice to late night, delivering smart and comedic commentary on any and all topics, that keeps audiences buzzing. Desus and Mero continue to host their Bodega Boys podcast.
