Kevin Clash, better known as Sesame Street’s Elmo, was nominated for 2 daytime Emmy Awards despite accusations of having inappropriate relationships with minors. In one category, Elmo was nominated for “Best Performer in a Child’s Series” and for the other, they just left off the word “series”.
