For two months we've been anxiously awaiting the debut of the brand new all-comedy streaming service from the NBC Digital Team, and although Seeso isn't set to officially launch until January with a $3.99/mo price tag, there is an all-free Beta version of the platform available right now! Yesterday, Executive VP of NBCU Digital Enterprises Evan Shapiro opened the doors for us with a personal tour of the new service, and all its features.

I finally got the opportunity to sit down with Roy Wood Jr. to talk about his gig as a correspondent on The Daily Show. We’ve been passing each other like ships in the night because we’re both always running off someplace, so before he took the stage to headline Gotham Comedy Club over the holiday weekend we sat down in the green room to chat. As a testament to his popularity despite the holiday weekend the room was packed.

You’ve seen the blockbusters, and all the Oscar contenders, but you still are looking for something to watch. Maybe something you missed. There are so many films that didn’t make a big splash, earn a lot of money or garner a lot of awards, or maybe don't get quoted by your friends, but they are worthy of being at the top of your queue. Beth Stelling is one of comedy's rising stars right now, and there's no more exciting time in a comic's development then right when they are breaking as a headliner. She recently premiered her first comedy special for Comedy Central as part of their Half Hour series, and earlier this month released her second comedy album, Simply the Beth with Comedy Dynamics. Stelling's voice in her album and special are strong, unique and fresh so I was excited to talk with her about what it's like to be in this moment where everything is happening so quickly. I found that in addition to being funny and original, she's also incredibly focused, smart, self aware and very appreciative.

We focus on everything comedy - and that includes comedy style. Not just their presence or their material, but the fashion sense they rock. Some comics build huge careers while never outgrowing 12-year-old outfits of hoodie, t-shirt, and jeans, and that's fine.
