Artie Lange Hospitalized Again But He’s Already Back in Action

Artie Lange had to cancel a show planned for last Saturday at the Laugh it Up Comedy Club in Fishkill NY after being hospitalized for an infection.

He was planning a show with friend and comedian Bob Levy, but the show had to be cancelled, and refunds given.

Saturday, Lange tweeted from the hospital, and seemed to be in good spirits, joking that the man next to him in the hospital was 96 years old and thinks Artie is his son. “I’m gonna pretend I’m his kid awhile,” he wrote.

He’s not planning on being out of commission long, however. Today he promoted a list of upcoming gigs with Levy starting with one in Springfield NJ at the Comedy Cove just three days from now.

Lange’s rep didn’t take it seriously, laughing it off to NJ.com, and implying that hospitalizations are not unusual given Artie’s various conditions.
