He announced he was gay in an email to the Daily Beast’s Andrew Sullivan saying “The fact is, I’m gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn’t be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud.” His email was a response to an Entertainment Weekly story about celebrities coming out. Congratulations Anderson, you’ve shocked the world!
