Part of tonight’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show featured a “Calendar Girl” theme with girls representing each month of the year. Except November. Thousands of tweets went out asking “Where’s November” when October’s angel dressed as a Halloween witch was followed by a Santa-angel representing December. The show, which was taped last month originally had a November– Karlie Kloss (you may remember her as the girl with three armpits)– dressed as a native American.
That is until Native American leaders protested, feeling the wearing of the Indian headdress to be racist and saying it “misrepresented” their culture.
Victoria’s Secret apologized to anyone who was offended and agreed to remove it from the broadcast. Model Karlie Kloss also tweeted her own apology to her nearly 118,000 Twitter followers, writing, “I am deeply sorry if what I wore during the VS Show offended anyone. I support VS’s decision to remove the outfit from the broadcast.”
