No one won the Powerball jackpot on Saturday, so it’s now up to $425 million. It’s the largest jackpot in Powerball history. The next drawing is Wednesday. The lottery operates in 42 states, DC and the Virgin Islands. Two of the states that don’t participate are Alabama and Mississippi. Probably because it involves numbers.
