President Obama’s address for the 2015 White House Correspondents Dinner is all set according to his speech writers. Actually it’s more like a monologue where the Commander-in-Chief makes fun of himself, his administration, the Republican opposition and all the weirdness that goes on while running the government in Washington DC. This year’s White House Correspondents Dinner will once again be covered by C-SPAN. The annual dinner has been called “C-SPAN’s Super Bowl”.

According to Bloomberg, part of the large team putting together President Obama’s act is Zach Galifianakis. The two met when the President did an episode of “Between Two Ferns” with Galifianakis to promote the Affordable Healthcare Act. According to chief White House speechwriter Cody Keenan, Zach Galifianakis has helped with the act and written “one really good joke” for this year’s monologue, but wouldn’t elaborate on what it is.

Other names being associated with the President’s WHCD comedy team include Stephen Colbert, Judd Apatow who wrote the premise for the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner where President Obama destroyed Donald Trump who was in the audience by bashing leadership skills on the “Celebrity Apprentice” and his belief in the alleged Obama birth certificate conspiracy and David Litt, Keenan’s deputy chief speech writer who interned at the Onion and was a member of a Yale University improv group.

Coverage of the 2015 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner starts with the red carpet arrivals at 6pm et on C-SPAN. See if you can pick out the Zach Galifianakis joke during the President’s remarks.
