The new Netflix animated comedy “BoJack Horseman” just debuted on the streaming service on Friday and it’s already getting a second season. The series is getting 12 more new episodes for season 2 at Netflix.

Will Arnett voices the title character “BoJack Horseman” who in the 90s had everything a celebrity horse could want – fame and a hit family show called “Horsin’ Around”. Since his show was cancelled, BoJack has been trying to get back on the horse, figuratively. However, he’s dealing with a horse-sized drinking problem, a lot of self-hatred and plenty of one night stands. He’s got the help of his human sidekick Todd (voiced by Aaron Paul) and his cat agent and former love interest, Princess Carolyn whose voice is supplied by Amy Sedaris. Alison Brie and Paul F. Tompkins also co-star on the series.

The Hollywood Reporter states that a second season of “BoJack Horseman” is consistent with Netflix’s and the company’s original content VP Cindy Holland’s commitment to comedy. “BoJack Horseman” joins Netflix’s comedies including “Orange Is the New Black”, “Derek”, “Lilyhammer” plus the new comedy series “Grace and Frankie”, starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin and the new Chelsea Handler project.
