Who’s Hosting Saturday Night Live? Peter Dinklage.

Peter Dinklage will be hosting SNL tonight. It’s his first time hosting.  Expect to see some tits and dragons or at least a few maidens and damsels on SNL– although Dinklage has a long and varied resume, he’s currently known and loved for his Emmy winning performance on HBO’s Game of Thrones as Tyrion Lannister.

Gwen Stefani will perform as musical guest.

Although he has never hosted- Dinklage has appeared on SNL before. He had a hysterical cameo on a Drunk Uncle segment with Bobby Moynihan exactly three years ago on April 6, 2013.  Dinklage appeared as Drunk Uncle’s Game of Thrones buddy, Peter Drunklage, a man with a little regret in the bottom of his tumbler.

Dinklage appeared in two promos for this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live.  The first, with Gwen Stefani and Kate McKinnon.  Gwen asks the question burning on everyones minds…and yes, it’s about Jon Snow. In promo two, Peter is hanging with Cecily Strong enjoying Rockefeller Plaza.  They rap about the weather, seasons, and how cute Gwen Stefani is. They also learn a very valuable lesson about the different between a movie, and a window. Turns out Cecily isn’t a Game of Thrones fan but as you’ll see in the clip, she’s willing to learn.
