North Korea’s Kim Jong Un had one of his high ranking military officers put to death for partying during the official mourning period for Un’s father Kim Jong Il. And he wanted to make this execution something special, so firing squad, guillotine and hanging were all out of the question. Kim Jong Un ordered that the prisoner stand in an area that was then hit by a mortar so that there was no trace of his body left.
